Maria Blacque-Belair, LCSW

Maria Blacque-Belair is a clinical social worker licensed in the State of New York  (RO75010-01).  She can conduct psychological immigration assessments in English, French and Spanish without interpreters.

Her assessments will usually involve two extensive clinical interviews; follow-up with clients on emails, and review of background material.  Completion time for an evaluation is on average 2 to 3 weeks. 

Based in Astoria, Queens, New York, clients can be seen in person and or remotely, including weekend hours.

Maria has worked for two decades with asylum-seekers, and is a psychosocial counselor at Doctors Without Border USA

She has extensive training and certifications in conducting immigration psychological evaluations. 

She has a Masters in Clinical Social Work from  New York University (NYU).
